How To Approach The Heavenly Father? - Raising Zion

The greatest mistake a young believer makes is by thinking God is not on their side when they are in the middle of a trial or temptation.

When a trial comes, they look at it like a test for them to prove themselves to the Father. Which is the incorrect way to look at it. Instead what needs to be understood is that the Heavenly Father is positioned you to be an overcomer with Him by your side.

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” Exodus‬ ‭33:14‬ ‭

God gave Satan the permission because God knew Job. What was God’s testimony of Job?

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. (Job 1:1)

Don’t let doubt creep in you as you pursue Christ by faith.

He is the loving Father. He proves us because He believes in what He has given us in Jesus will bring us the victory.

We are greatly loved and therefore will be tested so we can move onto perfection.

God is thinking for us. We need to stay faithful in Him.

It wasn’t humanly impossible for Joshua to fight an Anakim. Yet, he believed and won mightily. Why? God fought for them because they believed, unlike those 10 spies who brought a faithless report.

While Joshua and Caleb won over the giants of Anak who were 30-40 feet tall. David met the descendant of Anak, when he faced Goliath. Goliath was around 9ish, David was 5.5 feet, per history. David learnt from his forefathers to live by faith.

These battles were necessary for future generations to know and learn. Receive by faith and win greater battles.

God loved Jesus and therefore it pleased Him to bruise JESUS for us! (Isaiah 53:10).

We have a daily choice to either live by faith or in fear. Only perfect love can cast out fear and produce overcoming faith in us. The baptism of the Holy Spirit enables us to walk in victory.

What does it take to recognise the Heavenly Father, as a believer? Be a child (of God).
