Where is it OK to say that Blacks are inferior?

It’s just fine in the US House or Congress. It’s called Free Speech and covered by parliamentarian immunity. It is outrageous and infuriating. And this must make us proud of democracy? It’s the Will of the People gone bunkers. This is not democratic at all. This is anti-democratic. It is sick over-permissiveness reminiscent of parents who spoil their kids. Not spoiling them with goodies but spoiling them with not saying no when a no is due.

I have three things to say about 2021 democracy. They focus on the US that, with its own supremacy, gives the bad examples to the whole world.

1. Stop giving anti-democracy any democratic rights.

Someone abusing free speech to spread hatred, supremacy, lies, and fake news is weakening democracy. He needs to be taken off the air.

Supremacists should not receive permission to march. Anti-democrats can spread their ideas while in jail to their jail mates and that’s it.

Freedom of speech must be part of democratic equality. Instead of a freedom to threaten, insult, and demean certain groups, democracy has an obligation to make women, Jews, anyone feel safe to walk the streets.

It’s not enough to be an anti-racist. All abuse and exploitation need to end. Workers’ lives matter. Women’s lives matter. Human’s lives matter. Animal lives matter. Plant lives matter. (NB: I don’t say this to diminish BLM as if there is no specific police brutality to Blacks. I’m saying: After the cops don’t kill him, his boss or health fund or the polluters next-door can?)

There are small signs of improvement. Trump not twittering anymore. But these are baby steps. We need much more of this to get a good life for all.

2. Stop taking overpermissiveness as freedom.

Someone who wants to kill himself is not exercising his undeniable right to free choice. He’s desperate and needs more support.

Someone using alcohol, sex, food, nicotine, etc. for ‘recreation’ is not free but enslaved, addicted, hurting themselves, and needs to go to detox.

3. Stop permitting society to hurt people.

Dictators and exploiters (“capitalists”), dressed up as democrats, are dividing up the world and controlling our lives. This needs to stop.

For profit, honor, hunger for power, nationalism, and dictators, most people are exploited, human rights are trampled, wars and genocides planned, and environmental balances and human, animal, and plant survival threatened. There is no freedom to commit such global crimes.

You would not agree with your child tearing down the house. Why do you permit grownups to break down society and life on earth?
