What is the end of those who tell lies? - Raising Zion

Do you tell lies? If you love someone, don’t lie on behalf of them. It’s still a lie. A lie that God hates. No lie is of the truth. A believer knows the truth, and therefore cannot think they can continue to live being a liar.

I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. (1 John 2:21)

What happens to those who tell lies?

When a parent lies for a child, it is idol worship. Elevating their child to a status greater than God’s word.

“Two children used to spend their free time at church serving the ministers and keeping the place clean. One day it so happened, A accused B of stealing cash from his bag. The parents were summoned to probe the matter further. B’s parents began to claim that their child would never do such a thing. B’s parents did not bother to check with their child and started to create a ruckus.

The lying became a habit, and the parents started to involve the child in other lies to trying to take wrong advantage of the humble ministers. B, the child, had by then got tired of all the lies. He wanted out, but the lazy father kept insisting on using his son for various schemes. Eventually their child was taken away from them due to a snake bite. I had witnessed this child repenting and being prayed for before he was taken away. Amazing grace. The loss was too heavy for the parents, but God had mercy on them as they repented of their ways.

Sapphira lied for her husband and died in sin (Acts 5). The couple were living in a time of great revival with signs and wonders. We are in that time again before the coming of the Lord. We have witnessed and experienced mighty works of God. It’s necessary for us to stay in truth.

If we say we know God and do not keep his commandments, we sin, we are liars (1 John 2:4). The righteous hate lying (Proverbs 13:5). God made us righteous, so we need to stay righteous in submission to God’s word.

The end for a liar is hell (Proverbs 19:9).

God did not create us for hell.

When we stay true to our relationship with God; He is mighty to heal every relationship we are in for His glory. Be ready to meet Jesus, He is coming soon for His faithful bride. Praise God and Amen.
