How To Improve Your Life In Christ? - Raising Zion

improve your life

The only way you can improve your life is by improving your spiritual life.

“Don’t know what to do.”
“Can’t believe anyone.”
“There is no one to guide.”

Most young believers end up getting to this stage after years of learning under parents or their churches. How? Knowledge of the world and it’s lusts begin to break them. down, making them eventually doubt in everything they have ever believed.

We can do nothing on our own. There is no way we can try and be a better Christian. It takes surrendering our lives in prayer and bible meditation to build a personal walk with God.

What is the way to improve your life at this stage?

1. Pray in tongues as you meditate on God’s benefits in your life (Romans 8:26-27). Seek God for the baptism of the Holy Spirit that comes with the evidence of speaking in tongues. This is an utterance that comes from God. Not taught or acquired.
2. Walk in the unction of the Holy Spirit (1 John 2:18-20).
3. Abide in Christ daily (John 15:4-7).

When we surrender to a diligent prayer life; not only do we get to pray with understanding but also in tongues. A personal prayer life in tongues edifies us.
The “Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”

The anointing we have received enables us to discern right from wrong. We are able to recognise the false teachers or apostles amongst us and separate from them. Walking in the power of the Holy Spirit in obedience to His voice.

Without abiding in Jesus, we cannot do anything. You may be able to start your own ministry or do great things in this world, but you’ll never be able to do the will of God. Jesus came to do the will of God. In Christ alone can we do the will of God. Christ did the will of the Father.

Talk to Jesus like He is before you

I often tell youth, live as if Christ is visible before you, more than the people you can actually see. How does that apply in practice? Before every decision, seeking scripture or pray to receive an answer or peace to move on.

May the Lord help us to trust in Him alone for all things. Never doubting, always rejoicing in the Spirit to respond to those in need. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
