Worship, Because it’s Beautiful

Psalms 33

By Tanja

“Sing joyfully to the Lord..” Psalms 33:1

Psalm 33 talks about singing joyfully to the Lord, for that is the right thing to do. Hey, people, are you ready to praise the Lord? Praise the Lord with the music and sing a new song. Are you going to get out the piano? Are you going to get out the guitar? Put the music to lyrics and start writing new songs?

Paul Wilbur says, “Praise looks good on you?” [1]

Have you thought about what looks good on you today? Are you that kind of person who will get up every day take out two or three or more outfits from your wardrobes just to try them on? You stand in front of the mirror. You evaluate if the outfit is the right one. “Does this look good on you?”

Maybe that’s what you do when you go shopping. You look at the right outfit to buy, and it takes several fittings to try what looks good on you.

Praise looks good on you. Can you believe that it is so beautiful when you start to praise the Lord? The Hebrew word for ‘beautiful’ is ‘naw-veh’, meaning beautiful or suitable.

Let’s keep praising the Lord and let’s keep choosing to worship Him. Worship the Lord with all your heart and soul.
