  2. This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says:

In repentance and rest is your salvation,
in quietness and trust is your strength,
but you would have none of it.

  1. Silence is better than weapons of war.
  2. Matthew 26 vs. 63 – But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
  3. Jesus held His peace in front of false witnesses.

  • Prince of Peace, reign in my heart in Jesus’ name.

Psalm 30 vs 5: His anger lasts only a moment

  1. Several scriptures in the Bible record God as being angry especially against His enemies and those that disobey him.
  2. But the good news is that His anger lasts only for a moment, and His mercies endureth forever.
  3. It seems unbelievable that God could only be angry for just a moment.
  4. If His anger lasts only for a moment, it means this moment He is angry, the next moment
  5. How long does your anger last?
  6. For some of us it is a lifetime, for some of us it is a decade, for some of us it is for years, for some of us it is for months, for some of us it is for weeks, for some of us it is for days, for some of us it is for minutes, for some of us it is for seconds.
  7. If your anger lasts more than a moment, know that you have not met the pass mark.
  8. Anger that lasts for a moment maybe a disqualification from making heaven.
  • May our anger not take us to hell in Jesus’ name
  • May God give us the grace to forgive, the moment we are offended in Jesus’ name
