Are you feeling lonely and unloved today? Today, God is reminding me and you that Love wins. Always. On Valentine’s day and every day.

The Lord appeared to me (Israel) from ages past, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.

The world has always celebrated Valentine’s day as a day for couples.

But what about all of us, singles, out there? Can’t we celebrate Valentine’s day too? 

Yes, we can. 

Because today God is reminding us He loves us, each and every one of us, with an everlasting love.

A love that remains faithful and constant through the ages.

See how God’s love wins

No matter what happens or what has happened or what will happen, God loves us and His love always wins. 

For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 AMP

You only have to fix your eyes on the cross with Jesus there. Crucified. Giving His life for you and me. 

That’s how much God loves us.

But beyond the cross, beyond the suffering is Jesus risen. Conqueror of death.

Love wins. Always.

So today, take heart.

You are loved. You are precious in HIs eyes. Even when you don’t feel like it.

God loves you and me. Always. 

I like how The Message Bible puts it: 

This is the way God put it: “They found grace out in the desert, these people who survived the killing. Israel, out looking for a place to rest, met God out looking for them!”

God told them, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love!

And so now I’ll start over with you and build you up again, dear virgin Israel. You’ll resume your singing, grabbing tambourines and joining the dance.

You’ll go back to your old work of planting vineyards on the Samaritan hillsides, And sit back and enjoy the fruit— oh, how you’ll enjoy those harvests!

The time’s coming when watchmen will call out from the hilltops of Ephraim: ‘On your feet! Let’s go to Zion, go to meet our God!’”
