Spring Forth Renewal

This post is part of the Five Minute Friday blog link-up. Where I join up with a community of writers and bloggers of all ages and stages who gather around a single word prompt to free-write, unscripted, unedited, for five minutes. This week’s word prompt is {SPRING}

GO

Spring has sprung; bring on summer. I’m one of those people who, for me, the hotter, the better.

Springtime is refreshing to me every year. I love to watch nature renew from dormancy to rebirth.

There is a tree nearby that I can see from my window; I love to observe the seasonal changes of this tree. Year after year, I watch this tree.

I love to observe God’s creations. I’m awestruck when I watch the dormancy and sleep of nature in the fall. And equally in awe as I watch creation rebirth and awaken in the spring.

It reminds me of how I felt when God took me from a lukewarm Christian and grew me into a relationship with him.

I was reborn; I felt like that tree in the springtime of my life like tiny little green buds that God nurtured, fed, watered into this new creation of a fully developed green leaf.

He led me from dry dormancy to rebirthed life. He fed me living water, and the son now shines on me.

I am reborn and renewed in him. I feel springlike every day.

STOP

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day
