How to seek God and have what we need for this life? - Raising Zion
Does nothing feel right? Every effort towards getting what you desire seem to all fall apart?
Life is all about setting the right expectations. Jesus sets it straight and simple – seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.
What is the kingdom of God?
Romans 14:17 teaches us that the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Man, in his desire to do his own will, is seeking everything but God. Today, man lives without any direction, peace or happiness. He is trying to create his own moral standards. This has led to more divisions and a deep, dark tribalism. He is more hopeless than ever before.
Bad addictions, violence, confusion, etc. all have increased. We feel we are hurtling into disaster.
On the other hand, the believer knows he is heading into the coming of the Lord. Each day, surrendering our lives to God prepares us for an expected end.
What we need for this life comes with seeking God
When we seek God daily, we stay protected from the lies and delusion filling up the earth. His word cleans us and His power gives us the strength to separate from the things of this world. We end up not only loving this life but also preparing for an eternity of freedom, love and peace.
When we come under the Holy Spirit, He sets us up for living right daily. Even guiding all our decisions for this life when we ask Him. Turn away from doing your own will.
Get your expectations right by coming to the house of God. Let the presence of God direct your life and bring the joy we need to love this life and see good days. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
