- The book of Chronicles is a book of history, is a book of genealogy, a book of stories.
- In 1 Chronicles 7, the genealogy of the Israelites was outlined.
- In this chapter, the name of the children of Israel and their descendants was mentioned.
- If you look at the whole chapter, it is all about the names and the descendants of Israel.
- Issachar was mentioned. He was one of the sons of Israel, he was also one of the tribes of Israel.
- In this chapter, the children of Issachar were introduced.
- Chapter 7 vs 5 says And their brethren among all the families of Issachar were valiant men of might, reckoned in all by their genealogies fourscore and seven thousand.
- In this verse, the Bible was specifically talking about a family in the tribe of Issachar.
- That family are the sons of Uzzi; Izrahiah and the sons of Izrahiah; Michael, Obadiah, and Joel, Ishiah, five of them.
- The lesson we have from this verse is that, in chapter 7, we have several names mentioned but among these names, only five names were singled out.
- The Bible described these five names are valiant men of might, men who could be reckoned with.
- These men are history makers.
- My prayer for you today is that your family shall not be an ordinary family and your name shall not be an ordinary name in Jesus name.
- Among thousands of names, you name shall be reckoned with in Jesus name
- Your family shall be an influential, notable, and famous person.
- In your generation, in your extended family, in your village, in your ethnic group, when mentioning names, when they reach your name, historians will pause. They will say you made history, they will say you changed history, and they will say your case is different in Jesus name.
- God shall give you the grace to live above the crowd in Jesus might name.
