Who Can Receive the Secrets of God on Earth? - Raising Zion
How to receive the secrets of God? Who does God reveal His secrets? Which loving Father does not share his secrets with his children? Right?
How much more our loving Heavenly Father is eager to tell us all.
Four types of people God revealed His secrets to, in the Old Testament;
- Obedient children (e.g. Abraham – Genesis 18:7)
- All those who walk in the fear of God (Psalms 25:14)
- Servants (Amos 3:7)
- Righteous (Noah, Lot, etc.)
How do Believer’s today receive the secrets of God?
Be with God in His secret place. The secret place of prayer.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High will abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalms 91:1
The Father in Heaven hid nothing from Jesus as HE walked the earth. God says, ask and He will tell us great and mighty things (Jeremiah 33:3). Paul teaches us in 1 Corinthians 2:10 how it the Spirit of God who reveals God’s secrets.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1 Corinthians 2:10
What we have in Christ is more than special. It’s life everlasting. The Spirit of God is the eternal Spirit. The third person of the Godhead dwells in us through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When we pray, He reveals and strengthens us, to know and live the higher standard in Christ. Ask, seek and knock for the secrets of God.
Get closer to God today. Know Him better everyday. Prepare for the coming of the Lord. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
