God Makes Zeroes into Heroes for His Glory - Raising Zion

zeroes to heroes

Can you imagine being blind for three days? It’s a scary thought. Not only is it a scary thought but a terrifying experience mentally and emotionally.

Before Paul launched into full-time ministry, he was blind for three days. Why did he have to lose his eyesight? It would have shattered him completely. He lived without any fear of God, persecuting and killing Christians freely. Suddenly, one day, he had to stop everything he could do with his mind, heart and strength.

God makes zeroes into heroes.

Unless we become absolutely nothing, Christ cannot manifest in our lives. We mustn’t forget, we are dust. Jesus became a zero so God can make Him into a hero.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name: (Philippians 2:5-9)

Abraham humbled himself before God. (Genesis 18:27)

God blessed him in every way necessary for him to be the father of faith.

When a Potter re-creates a vessel, he shatters it into powder. Now, he can make it as he pleases (Jeremiah 18:4).

Two traits in vessels in the hand of God we see are;

  1. Holiness
  2. Honour (doing the will of God)

As you read this, surrender yourself into the hands of the greatest Potter of our lives. Let us pray, “O Lord, mould me and make me according to your perfect will. Not my will, Lord, but thy will be done.”

May we grow from strength to strength as we await His soon appearing. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen!
