Romans 12 vs 2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1. Be not conformed to this world because the prince of this world is the devil.
2. The Bible says the whole world is under the devil, but the same Bible says whosoever is born of God overcometh the world.
3. You cannot chase the world, and the world cannot be your standard. The world and its pleasures cannot be your constitutions.
4. Do not conform to this world means do not emulate the world.
5. You are a citizen of heaven, and the Bible is your constitution. The world celebrities cannot be your role model.
6. Many years ago, a friend invited me to a seminar where a Billionaire gave a seminar on how to make it in life. I asked him if the Billionaire was a believer, and he said no, so I declined the invitation.
7. An unbeliever cannot teach me the secret of prosperity because the fact that he is an unbeliever makes him a failure.
8. Do not conform with the world. Unbelievers cannot be your mentor, regardless of wealth or status. A life without Christ is a life full of crisis.
9. Do not chase what everyone is chasing but chase heaven. You have a destination, and the world is not the end of your life.
10. Fix your gaze in heaven.
11. Look at the characters in the Bible and make them your model.
12. Let Jesus be your model. Let the life of the Apostles be your model.
13. Let the Holy Spirit be your star.
14. Follow Jesus and carry Jesus everywhere you go.
15. Be separated from every evil mentor and every ungodly influence in Jesus’ name.
16. Receive the heart of holiness and righteousness in Jesus’ name. Amen.
