How to Avoid the Garden of Eden Tragedy - Christian Personal Development

I am sure you have read what happened in the Garden of Eden on many occasions. I believe non-Christians can conveniently narrate the story in the Garden of Eden and all that happened to Adam and Eve.

Another important figure in the Garden of Eden story is the role the serpent (the devil) played in making Adam and Eve dinner against God.

Another Garden of Eden tragedy was averted

What is the Garden of Eden tragedy? What presented the tragedy in another Garden many years after the tragedy in the Garden of Eden happened?

Let us look at it in detail below.

Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane

Jesus allowed God, His Father, to come first in all His dealings during His ministry on the earth. This was clear when He declared, “…your will be done” in the Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:42).

Oh! all thanks to God that Jesus allowed the Father’s will to overrule the will of His flesh in the Garden of Gethsemane.

This would have been another Garden tragedy. What would have been our lots today if Jesus had not gone to the cross! I don’t even want to think of the possibilities!

Let God direct your steps

God is our Creator, we must fall in love with asking Him for directions any time we have to take decisions on major issues in our lives. I want Him to help me in every decision I make.

I put in all efforts to study His Word daily to receive directions daily. You too should begin to do this. We can’t make any meaning of our lives without His directions and instructions.

The bible says in Proverbs 3:5-7
[5]Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your understanding;
[6]In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
[7]Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

If we relegate God to the second position in our lives we are attracting the devil to ourselves.
