Answers to prayers: How to get them - Christian Personal Development

Do you desire answers to prayers? Well, everybody wants that anyway. It’s good when you go on your knees to request if God and to have all that you request in prayer.god

But although God answers prayers, His Word is filled with conditions that must be met. I am using this post to show you one of the factors that ensure answers to prayers from God.

Answers to prayers: God’s sovereign decision

First, you must understand that God has the sovereign decision to answer prayers. Sure, He wants to answer our prayers but He has the independent power to either answer our prayers or not.

However, because his Word severally showed us that He wants to grant and answer our prayer request, He has put in place in His Word as we have it in the Bible some conditions or factors or principles that ensure answered prayers.

Motivation to press in prayers

The contents of Luke 11: 13 have always inspired me especially when it is time to press in prayer to get a result. If you want to know what it takes, according to the teachings of the Word of God, to get answers to prayers, you should read this with all attention.

Let me show you what this Bible passage shares below:

“If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if you give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father, give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him”

This is an interesting message to you and me. If God can give us His Spirit, then He can give us any good thing no matter what they are, we only need to press in prayer asking in the name of Jesus.

God answers prayers

Let me express this in another interesting way.

If God can give us Himself to live on the earth amongst us, get betrayed by us, nailed to the cross by us, and finish the salvation work for our sakes, then He can give us any good thing no matter what they are.

Don’t listen to the devil and uninformed people around you who tell you there are some good things God can’t give to you. It’s a lie!

God can do and give all good things to those who ask Him in faith. Press in prayer asking in Jesus name.

Effective prayer sessions

Making effective and powerful prayer sessions, and getting answers to prayers over difficult situations require a pressing most times.

Jesus showed this in Luke 18 when He told the story of the persistent widow. However, if you must possess the quality of those who press in prayers to get results, you must fully understand and trust the message of Luke 11:11-13 published above.

You need to leverage the confidence and assurance this passage gives to consistently go before God in prayers over such situations until you get the result you desire.

Answers to prayers: Right knowledge is important

Pressing to get great results from prayers will not be possible if you don’t know that God is ever willing to give you any good thing you ask from Him.
