Praying Scripture— Grief

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:18— NIV
Prayer
Father God, sometimes I think my life needs to look perfect before I can approach You. Help me to let go of this belief…I want to invite You into every area of my life, especially messy ones! And when I feel downhearted and troubled or grieving , Be my Guide; show me how to release my broken pieces. Grant me faith when I hear Your voice. Help me to trust You and lean on your loving arms—I know you’ll always catch me. I love You, Abba!
