Apps to Help You Organize! – Pathways to Organization
I just found some apps that I know will help you to eliminate chaos and keep you organized.
I just found some apps that I know will help you to eliminate chaos and keep you organized.
Now that September is here most of us are back into the swing of things: children back in school, our work schedules, our home schedules and those activities that start back this time of year.
Let me share the story: “Every Friday afternoon this teacher would ask her students to write down the names of four children with whom they’d like to sit with the following week. It is like mining for gold – the gold being those children who need a little help, who need adults to step in and teach them how to make friends, how to join a group, or how to share their gifts. Children who aren’t being noticed may eventually resort to being noticed by any means necessary.” So, now that school has started back, perhaps we can pay a little more attention to the children in our children’s classrooms and those getting off the bus.
The lazy days of Summer are still here but I bet you feel conflicted when you ask yourself questions such as, “Are the kids too scheduled, entertained and challenged?” or “Do they have too much down time when I allow them time and space to roam wild, sleep late, with the freedom to watch, eat and play whatever they want?”
By the time you receive this in your inbox, it will be the fourth of July. A day of celebrating a great freedom that came at great cost.
With the beginning of June upon us, now is the time to look at your calendar, with your children, and decide how you want to spend the care free days of summer. Without planning, you could easily pass up the wonderful opportunities that summer can give us. September will arrive and it’s easy to feel as if summer has passed you by. If we don’t make a point to plan activities and then commit to making them happen, you risk getting caught up in your usual routine rather than slowing down and appreciating this special time with your kids. So, as wonderful as summer can be, keeping ourselves sane and our children occupied, happy and safe can be quite a juggling act. Here are some ideas that helped me through those summer months.
First, I want to say a belated “Happy Mother’s Day” to all of you! I pray it was a good day for you filled with time with your loved ones. I was blessed that I had just spent the week before with my Mom and older daughter and my precious granddaughter! Then my younger daughter from Houston came up for the weekend.
Spring break is actually this week in the school district I live. But if yours in coming up soon, hopefully some of these tips can help you get organized!
Many of you live in areas that have been hit hard with snow, ice and freezing temperatures this winter. Some of you may also have gone through hurricanes, tornadoes, loss of electricity or any number of emergencies.
Last week we talked about your love life and how being organized can help! So along with that thought, I would like to share with you the one thing that really can make a difference in your life and how you relate to others.
