The Triune God’s Dispensing, Mingling, and Expression, Now to New Jerusalem

New Jerusalem is a matter of dispensing, mingling, and expression. First, the processed Triune God is dispensed into His chosen people. Then the processed, consummated Triune God mingles Himself with His redeemed and regenerated tripartite people to perfect, transform, and glorify them. Eventually, there will be the universal and eternal expression of the processed and consummated Triune God.*

The dispensing, the impartation, of the Triune God into His people is seen in Philippians 1:19—Paul received “the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.” This dispensing continues into eternity with the “river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb” in New Jerusalem.

The mingling of God’s life and nature, but not His Godhead, with His people is seen in 1 Corinthians 6:17, “he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit” and our being partakers of the divine nature in 2 Peter 1:4. This mingling enlarges in New Jerusalem to the whole city “having the glory of God” (Rev. 21:11).

The expression of the Triune God in His people is in Philippians 1:20, “even now Christ will be magnified in my body” and 1 Corinthians 14:24-25, if “some unbeliever or unlearned person enters [the church meeting], he is convicted by all, he is examined by all; the secrets of his heart become manifest; and so falling on his face, he will worship God, declaring that indeed God is among you.” The ultimate expression is New Jerusalem “having the glory of God.”
