The essence of Christianity is loving your neighbor. Suburbia needs loving neighbors reaching out in quiet ways just as much as the poor need help in Calcutta or the lost need help in Afghanistan. The daily grind of being a faithful witness for Jesus occurs all over the world, in jungles, mountain villages, cities, farming communities, and suburban plats.
Few things are more important than children hearing and understanding the gospel. The Lord Jesus Christ openly received little children (Matthew 19:14), and taught that every one who is saved must come with the simple, humble faith of a child (Matthew 18:3). It is beautiful to see the plainness with which our Savior explained divine truth!
How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? -Matthew 7:4, NIV Some cheaters are so bold as to believe they know how YOU need to improve as a Christian!
Of all truths in the universe, the most important is the truth of who Jesus is. After all, Truth is not merely an impersonal moral standard. It is a living Person who loved us so much He bears on His hands eternal scars because He rescued us.
