John 13 vs 34-35 ³⁴A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. ³⁵By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Jesus commanded all his disciples to love one another.
He said that would be the standard or criteria for knowing the disciples of Jesus.
The attribute of love is an important quality of every follower of Christ.
If you hate any person, you are not following this instruction.
As you have known earlier, if anyone offends you, the standard of Jesus Christ is for you to forgive the person after rebuking.
Hatred has no place in the heart of a Christian. If you are a Christian, you must not hate anyone.
