Blogs Rules

    Crossmap Rules / Content Guidelines

Crossmap Blogs is an open, independent platform for Christians to publish, discuss, and share their faith stories from a Biblical viewpoint.

We provide a wide platform for you to share your opinions by upholding a secure, cordial, and accepting atmosphere for other authors and readers.

Because Crossmap is an independent site with a variety of material, we want to ensure that everyone may use it safely. As a result, we respectfully ask everyone to follow by the rules listed below:

    1. We sternly prohibit the publication of AI-generated material.

    2.  Please keep your writing balanced and acceptable. We forbid the use of hate speech or threats against others based on their ethnicity, race, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or other similar characteristics. We also prohibit the use of racial slurs and derogatory language.

    3. Any visual representations of sexual actions, erotic literature, and nudity of any type, including that in your profile pictures, are not permitted. Neither are links to films or anything that is pornographic or otherwise sexually exploitative, not even your username or biography. When a violation is found, we immediately remove the content or, in extreme cases, permanently remove your account.

    4. Crossmap strongly forbids any form of infringement and won't let you post anything that does so in violation of our terms and conditions. Don't publish any content that was authored or developed by someone else, either. Plagiarized content will be removed immediately. Send an email to blogs@crossmap.com if you believe your material is being abused.

    5.  The Crossmap custom domain option allows you to create and customize your domain. However, Crossmap will continue to host this custom domain feature, and its terms and conditions will still apply. You may only use it to share content; you may not change the way Crossmap looks or feels.

    6. Make sure you don't make duplicate accounts or publish the same article more than once. Don't use already published material with minor changes. Don't plagiarize significant sections of text from other articles; provide appropriate quotes or keep it authentic.

    7. In your articles, avoid linking to or embedding dangerous or malicious software or code. Spam links and emails in articles may be considered a violation and deleted.

    8. We permit first-party marketing, so you are free to advertise on and connect to your own sites or social media accounts. Crossmap does not, however, permit third-party advertising or marketing. This includes any graphics or affiliate links that feature a brand as part of the title or logo.

    9. Never disclose or upload another person's personal information without that person's consent, including their email address, phone number, social security number, home address, and other similar details.

    10. Posting pictures without the subject's express permission is prohibited. Posts on Crossmap can reach a wide range of readers, therefore, we ask that you choose your photos carefully and show image courtesy attribution of ones that you have taken yourself or that are available for free online.

    11. We forbid the publication of materials that advocate the physical, sexual, or other exploitation of children, including the sexification of fictitious children.

    12. We forbid any content or actions that celebrate, advocate, or support self-harm. Please notify blogs@crossmap.com if you come across people who are thinking about harming themselves or making threats to do so.

    13. We reserve the right to suspend accounts or delete material at any time, without warning to safeguard our services. We will suspend your new accounts and postings if you try to avoid suspension by establishing new ones. Rest assured that in order to maintain accuracy and transparency, we will let you know about our activities regarding your account, if there are any.

    14. Write to us at blogs@crossmap.com if you think your material or account has been limited or disabled inadvertently, or if you think there is significant context we were not aware of while making our decision. We shall take into account any sincere attempts to dispute.

    15. Send an email to blogs@crossmap.com to let us know if you have a disagreement with any other writers. Don't interact with people in any way that is bitter, either directly or indirectly, by yourself.

Email us at blogs@crossmap.com if you have any other questions or inquiries. We're delighted to help you!
