Psalms 79:13 But we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from gene… | My identity in christ, Bible inspiration, Scripture verses

Psalm 79

  1. God is the Good Shepherd, and we are the sheep.
  2. The Good Shepherd cares, loves, provides, protects, and shields the sheep.
  3. But the sheep also have a responsibility to the Good shepherd.
  4. The qualities of a sheep are obedience, meekness, humility, modesty, submissiveness, and teachability.
  5. The Bible describes Christians as the sheep- vs 13.
  6. The question are you a good sheep? Do you follow and obey God?
  7. The good news is that if you are a good sheep, according to Psalm 79 vs 13 the Good Shepherd has prepared a pasture for you.

When we confess, He listens to every word, reaches into our lives – directly into our messes – and lifts us out of the many waters.
