FMF— Vote

FMF— Vote

We as Christians should be involved in the voting process. There are just as many non- Biblical things to vote for as there are Biblical things to vote for. As Christians, we should actively pray for our nation and its leaders, gain biblical perspectives on the current issues at hand, and get ready to get out there and vote.

What a tragedy it would be if a government shut up our voices. What I mean here is the gathering of the Community of Christians that worship the one true God in our churches. Seeking wisdom and discernment from God before we arrive to vote.

“ Choose some wise, understanding, and respected men from each of your tribes, and I will set them over you.” Deuteronomy 1:13 (NIV). Moses identified some of the inner qualities of good leaders’ wisdom, understanding, and respect.

“ When the righteous thrive the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.” Proverbs 29:2 (NIV).

“ The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.” Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV).

“Praise be to the name of God forever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.” Daniel 2:20-22
