Acts 21 vs 13

Then Paul answered, what mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

1. When Paul the Apostle wanted to go to Jerusalem to preach the word, everyone tried to persuade him not to go, so he will not be persecuted.
2. There was also a prophecy that he will be bounded if he go but Paul said he is ready to be bound for Jesus Christ’s sake.
3. Paul was ready to be persecuted for Jesus Christ and he even made a confession that he is ready to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
4. Are you ready to die for Jesus Christ? How far can you go for the work of Jesus?
5. Truly, Paul was persecuted but Jesus Christ rescued him.
6. Unless you love God, God cannot deliver you. The extent of the love you have for God will determine your deliverance. Psalm 91 vs 15 –  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him
7. No matter the affliction you are passing through unless you love God, God cannot deliver you. Your deliverance is for service.
8. Even if you are not ready to die for Jesus, what are you ready to do for Jesus?
9. How much of your money are you ready to spend for Jesus?
10. How much of your time are you ready to use for Jesus?
11. The answer to these questions will show the love you have for Jesus.
12. May the Lord of God overwhelm you in Jesus’ name. Amen
