Nigerian forward, Ademola Lookman, has been honoured as the African Player of the Year at the 2024 CAF Awards.

The event, hosted in Marrakech, Morocco, brought together Africa’s finest football talents to celebrate their remarkable achievements.

Lookman, who plays for Italian Serie A club Atalanta, had a stellar year characterized by his dazzling skills, lightning pace, and clinical finishing.

His contributions were pivotal to Atalanta’s success and Nigeria’s qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

        The Mall or the Manger?

Much has changed since the God of the universe decorated the night sky with the star of Bethlehem and directed the choir of angels in a chorus announcing the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. But the commercialism doesn’t have to rule in our hearts and homes. This year let’s focus on the Christ Child and remember the true meaning of the holiday season. As we turn our eyes to the Babe in the manger, we will not view Christmas as a dreaded obligation or a major retail event.
