What Does Matthew 3:2 Mean?

Over 2,000 years ago, John the Baptist started preaching by warning or announcing the closeness of the kingdom of Heaven.
If you are to believe the Bible in the simple and literal, this means the kingdom of Heaven will occur anytime from now.
‘At hand’ means ‘now’. ‘At hand’ means ‘close by’. ‘At hand’ means ‘besides you’. ‘At hand’ means ‘what you can see and feel’. ‘At hand’ means ‘something that becomes a reality’.
Your best decision today is to repent now because the day of judgment is at hand.
