Memorise: “They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:18)

Read: Mark 5:1-20

“They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:18).

Another characteristic of Heaven seekers is that they are full of power because Heaven is the source of all power. They are full of ability because power has been given to them by virtue of Kingdom citizenship (John 1:12). Demons are under instruction to obey their command. They have heavenly insurance against all forms of satanic poison.

Have you heard of a believer walking into a charm the enemies planted on his path and was affected? It is because the fellow is living short of a Heaven seeker. The fellow lacks power. When a Heaven seeker is going by a road demons have been taking lives, say through accidents, the moment they sight this shaft of light heading their way, they would immediately go on recess. If he gets to that point and lingers for two hours, the demons will remain on break until he leaves. That is power. That is what makes the believer to dominate. Do you possess this power?

It is an insult for a so called believer to be present in a place and demons will operate unhindered. It shows that believer is of no consequence to the satanic kingdom. That shall not be your portion in Jesus’ Name. When Jesus crossed over the sea and arrived at the land of the Gadarenes, the notorious madman of Gadara in whom were several vicious and powerful demons immediately paid Him homage.

They came to bow down to Him. The one whom a combined effort of the local police, army and vigilante groups could not tame was tamed, and transformed into an evangelist when Jesus came. Are you empowered by Heaven?

Heaven seekers are known by their peculiar desire and focus. While others are seeking and fighting for cars, houses, land, promotion, money, fruit of the womb, etc. They are seeking for what money cannot buy. The Heaven seeker seeks anointing, favour, grace, wisdom, etc. that come from above.

What are you seeking? Some magicians were performing somewhere and everything went well. But at a particular time, they began to have difficult. Their magical power failed. Then they sent demons to investigate. The demons traced the obstruction to some Heaven seekers who were praying innocently some distance away. Witches cannot operate because you are there. Agents of darkness should postpone or totally cancel their evil plans because you are there. Are you a Heaven seeker? You can be incharge!

Your pastor is sowing a lot into your life. List ten ways you can practically minister to him. Take the steps today.

    Struggling Together in Prayer

I was in the restroom touching up my makeup before speaking to several hundred women. When I looked in the mirror, thoughts began swirling in my mind. What am I doing here? What do I possibly have to say to these women that could make any difference in their lives? I am not capable of walking to that podium tonight. Read more...
