Galatians 5:22-23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

 Depression is from the Devil . God does not want you to be depressed. God is Love, he is Joy and he is Hope.. As shown from the passage above, Joy and Peace are part of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. God is a loving father and desires we live happily

If you are depressed for any reason you must know this is not God’s will for you. Depressio can be caused by several factors, but the most important fact you need to know is that there is a spirit working behind every activity. Depression is an evil spirit, because when you are depressed you cannot work in the grace of God.

How do you overcome depression.

Realize that there is a sovereign power known as God and he rules in the misdt of  human beings. Therefore he is greater than any problem you may be passing through.

Cast your burdens unto God. Call to hin in prayer and he will deliver. What somever you have lost that is causing to be depessed, can be divinely restored unto you. God is a God of restoration.

 Forget the past and do not dwell upon it. God says he will do a new thing. You have a future that is glorious than your past. The devil might have snatched your past away from you, but he cannot snatch the future.

Sing unto the Lord. The greatest happiness pill is singing unto the one that is greater than your problems. The devil wants you to be moody, but once you start singing Praises and Worshipping God even in your afflictions, he get scared and flees away.

Dont meditate on your problems, rather meditate upon the Word of God and apply God’s wisdom to solve your problems. Drop the anti depressant pills today and take on the anti depressant scriptures

Exercise your power as a Christian. Jesus has given you the power to overcome all powers of the evil one. Cast out that spirit of depression now from your life in Jesus name.
