Secret to fulfill destiny: What is the meaning of this

Secret to fulfill destiny is about finding the roadway or the steps you have to take to achieve the purpose why God created you. There are many secrets in God’s Word and we have taught quiet a lot on this blog. I will however, be sharing with you one of the basic secret in this post.

Secret to fulfill destiny: How Abraham started

I want to believe that many people did not know that Terah, Abraham’s father, actually started the journey to Canaan:

Genesis 11:31-32

[31]And Terah took Abram his son, Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram’s wife, and they went forth together to go from Ur of the Chaldees into the land of Canaan; but when they came to Haran, they settled there.

But he couldn’t get to the Canaan destination. He died midway – He died in Haran

[32]And Terah lived 205 years; and Terah died in Haran.

But his son, Abraham continued the journey and got to Canaan.

Genesis 12:4-5

[4]So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.
[5]Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan.

Abraham continued from where his father stopped

Abraham achieved what his father could not achieve – he did not die halfway because he got Canaan.

The Word of the Lord came to Abraham. Abraham leaned on the Word of God. The bible didn’t tell us God’s Word came to Terah. But Abraham heard the Word of God and relied on the Word of God to fulfill destiny.
