Love wholeheartedly, to love correctly and live freely - Raising Zion

love correctly and live freely

Overwhelmed by troubles in your life? Is it getting tough for you to live victoriously in Christ? Raise your expectations. Raise it to the standard of the word of God. Submit.

What is the expectation we have according to the standard of the word of God? God promises us Jesus, forever. To be with Him, and enjoy His love for life everlasting.

What do we need? Faith. The love of God that produces faith that can move mountains.

God’s love helps us love correctly and live freely

Abraham had strong faith (Romans 4:20). He did not ask anything with conditions. Even in his asking God, he desired God’s will alone. Unlike Jacob, who made conditional requests (Genesis 28:20).

Peter, as disciple, made a conditional request. He wanted to know what he will get if he follows Jesus (Matthew 19:27,28). Paul, the apostle, on the other hand was willing to lose all for Christ (Romans 8:35-39).

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:35-39

Prophet Habakkuk too, was all in for God. He chose to rejoice in God no matter what (Habakkuk 3:17,18).

Dear lover of Jesus, look at Him alone, the author and finisher of our faith. He is the faith and victory over every trial or temptation in life. Immanuel, God with us. Get ready, Jesus is coming soon. Praise God and Amen!
