Be separated from sin

Romans 1 vs 1

 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God

1. In this verse, Paul said he has separated himself for the gospel of Christ, for the kingdom of God, for the work of the missionary, for holiness and righteousness.
2. What have you separated yourself from and what did you need to separate yourself from?
3. Can you give the testimony that you have separated yourself for God?
4. Separate yourself for God because He is your creator. But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.- Mark 8 vs 33
5. Separate yourself for Jesus, for the gospel, for the kingdom of God.
6. Separate yourself from sin, bad friends, ungodliness, evil communication, unbelievers, drunkenness, bribery, and corruption.
7. Do not be unequal yoke with the unbeliever.
8. I pray for you today, that the sword of heaven shall separate you from lying, cheating, fornication, adultery, idolatry, and ungodliness in Jesus’ name.
