Ephesians 5 vs 25

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it;

1. Christ gave himself to the church. Therefore, husband, give yourself to your wife.
2. Christ loves the church. Therefore, husband, love your wife.
3. In the earlier verse, Ephesians 5:22, wives were counselled to submit; this does not mean slavery or oppression.
4. Ephesians 5 vs 25 is saying Husbands should love their wives.
5. Husbands love your wife because she is your friend.
6. Husband love your wife because she is your sister
7. Husbands love your wife because she is the mother of your children.
8. Outline all the things your wife does for you, and you will find a way to love her.
9. If you love your wife, she will naturally submit to you.
10. Your wife is your better half. When you show her love, you are showing yourself love.
11. I release the spirit of love into your marriage in Jesus’ name.
12. Receive the spirit of love in your marriage in Jesus’ name. Amen.
