1 Thessalonians 3 vs 3-4

³ That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.

⁴ For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

1. You cannot be a Christian and not experience one affliction.
2. This affliction aims to train, test, strengthen, and preserve you.
3. The good news is that God will see you through all those afflictions.
4. Paul admitted that he and his disciples suffered affliction.
5. Any true Christian must face one affliction or tribulation.
6. It is a test, but God will not allow it to overcome you.
7. Job was a blameless man, yet he faced affliction.
8. Abraham was a blameless man, yet he faced affliction.
9. Joseph and David faced affliction.
10. Proverb 24:10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. You shall not fail in the days of adversity in Jesus’ name.
11. What you are going through is not the end of your life.
12. Affliction must come, but God has already prepared the strength for you to overcome those afflictions.
13. Your tribulation is temporary, and you will not end this way.
14. Your joy shall come in Jesus’ name.
15. The Lord shall turn your captivity again in Jesus’ name. Amen

Prayer

• I rebuke every wind of affliction in my life in Jesus’ name.
• Any power sponsoring tribulation in my life, become powerless in Jesus’ name.
• Let there be an end to every affliction in my life in Jesus’ name.
• I shall testify to the power of God
