A Giving Campaign: DoGood Communications
When we decided to go on our Gap Year in Madrid, Spain this year, I was immediately thinking of ways that I could help fundraise. Where we serve this year is at LIFE International School, a small ACSI-accredited school in Spain. There are only two accredited Christian schools in Spain, so Logan and I were thrilled to immediately get to work to help serve.
When GivingTuesday was approaching, I connected with Charmaine at DoGood Communications. We had connected through social media years back as we both have “do good” in our user names and so it felt like an immediate fit. After several calls together both in the US and now Spain, I invited Charmaine to help work with LIFE International School on their very first Giving Tuesday campaign.
Charmaine worked to fully understand the needs of our school and developed a beautiful splash page which highlighted our school and our goals. It was wonderful to work with Charmaine and to see the heart that she puts into projects that she works on. We were excited for a productive campaign and were ready to get to work to raise money for LIFE International School.
Although the donors at the school did not help us reach our main goal, we did reach many current and prospective families through the campaign and also raised thousands of dollars that would be able to be matched. We were so grateful for Charmaine’s help in getting this campaign off the ground for us at LIFE International School.
