What lessons can children learn from Ephesians 6 vs. 1 which states “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right”
1. The Bible commands the children to obey their parents
2. Therefore it is a sin to disobey your parents
3. Obedience to parents is an act of righteousness
4. If you want to enter heaven, you must obey your parents
5. The first commandment out of the ten commandments in the Bible is obedience to parents
6. Children, honour not only your father, but also your mother – by obeying their instructions
7. Reward of obedience to parents – It will also be well with you
8. Reward of obedience to Children– Long life
9. Disobedient children may fail exams, become sick, and be exposed to may evil
10. Disobedient children are liable to die young
