Memorise: “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:” (Numbers 14:28)

Read: Numbers 13:27-33

Pastor E. Adeboye

“Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?” (Isaiah 53:1).

Comparing Joshua 14:6-8 and today’s reading further tells us that the report you believe determines your end. The 10 spies believed they could not enter into the promised land, and they perished before they got there. On the other hand, Caleb and Joshua believed entering the promised land was piece of cake for them, the challenges notwithstanding. And they entered.

What makes the difference between those who succeed and those who do not, is the report they believe. If you have been failing or retrogressing, it is possible you are holding an evil report. Drop it fast. The report you believe is what you will confess.

What you confess is what Heaven will give to you. Jesus says, you shall have whatsoever you say (Mark 11:23). When the children of Israel kept speaking death, and destruction to themselves in the name of complaints, God told them in Numbers 14:28-29 that they will receive what they have been saying.

In verse 28, He says “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you”. True to His Word, they became preys in the wilderness! Be careful what you say about yourself, especially when you meet with difficulties. It may come to pass! Never confess what you do not want to possess.

Many believers are victims of their confessions, meanwhile, they are seriously seeking for non-existent external enemies. Hence, the scripture commands you to confess strength when weak, healing when sick, wealth when poor.

Your confessions are also what hell needs to either nail you, or run from you. Many times, satanic forces bring certain situations to you expecting you to name them. At such a time some Christians will say, ‘I think I’m catching a cold’. Or ‘I’m having symptoms of malaria’.

The kingdom of darkness did not call it any name when they brought the feeling. Sometimes, they may suggest the name they want you to call it. It is a trap! Yet many believers fall into it. The moment you agree with their suggestion or brand it yourself, they are automatically empowered to give you what you confessed. Shun Satanic schemes!

There is nothing in that funny feeling or symptom. Call it ‘Nothing’ and before long, you will not find a trace. In any case, God has His own report in every situation. Receiving a divine revelation assists you to believe God’s report. Search for His report contained in the Bible, believe and confess it, and it will become a reality.

In Genesis 2:19, God brought all living creatures to be named by Adam. Today, the satanic host bring negative or contrary feelings and situations for believers to name. Name such satanic products as ‘Nothing’.
