Jeremiah 49 vs 16

“As for the terror of you, The arrogance of your heart has deceived you, O you who live in the clefts of the rock, Who occupy the height of the hill Though you make your nest as high as an eagle’s, I will bring you down from there,” declares the LORD.

Daniel 5 vs 20

“But when his heart was lifted up and his spirit became so proud that he behaved arrogantly, he was deposed from his royal throne and his glory was taken away from him.

Isaiah 14 vs 11-15

‘ “How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall

6. Proud people are selfish
7. Proud people want special seats in the church
8. Proud people want to be recognized when they give offerings
9. Pride is a deceiver
10. Pride leads to failure
11. Pride is a destroyer
12. Pride is a sin
13. Arrogance is the sister of pride
14. Money is the fuel of Pride
15. The spirit of money and pride walk together
16. Beauty causes pride
17. Status causes pride
18. Fame causes pride
19. Academic achievement causes pride
20. Proud people cannot say I am sorry
21. Proud people want to be worshiped
22. Proud people cannot serve they want to be served
23. Proud people are too big to serve God

Prayers

1. I kill the spirit of pride before it kills me
2. Rock of ages, fall on me and smash my pride to pieces in Jesus name
3. Holy spirit replace my proud spirit, proud tongue, proud heart, proud walk with a humble spirit.
4. I cast out pride from my heart in Jesus name
