Memorise:
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength” ( Is 40:29)Read: John 21:1-3

the wordIt is possible to become weak while running the Christian race. Luke 18:1 says, “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint”. It is also possible for the one who is running this race to faint. After the death and burial of the Lord Jesus Christ, Peter became tired. At a point, he fainted and returned to his secular assignment. The danger with fainting is that as the fellow goes down, he takes several others with him. When Peter fainted, he took six apostles with him. Have you resigned from pastoring or from being on full time service for the Lord? It is because you have fainted. When you visit the altar of consecration and pull out your wood of consecration one after the other, you have fainted. When you go back on your Nazarite vows, you have fainted.”If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small” ( Prov 24:10). The fainting believer is one who has almost totally lost all strength. Are you fainting? The Lord will restore strength to you this minute. Divine strength is surging into you, displacing physical weakness.

Are you fainting concerning an assignment God gave to you? Be encouraged. This is part of what we have to go through in this unusual race. Are you in a situation where you have no strength to continue? Isaiah 40:29 says, “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength”.

You are a candidate for divine empowerment. God’s angel is injecting you now with dozes of strength. Your strength is taking a raise. At the garden of Gethsemane, the Lord had to face His final battle against the flesh and the forces of evil. He had lost so much strength, yet He must win that battle. Without it, God’s salvation plan would not come to light.

In that moment of tiredness, depression, indecision and agony, an angel came and gave Him some dozes of strength. And He overcame for the whole of mankind. You too will overcome that depressive moment. It is well with you.

The fainting Christian is both a danger to himself and others. Ask God to empower you and trigger your spiritual revival.

    Struggling Together in Prayer

I was in the restroom touching up my makeup before speaking to several hundred women. When I looked in the mirror, thoughts began swirling in my mind. What am I doing here? What do I possibly have to say to these women that could make any difference in their lives? I am not capable of walking to that podium tonight. Read more...
