Psalm 31 verse 4
Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength
- In Psalm 31 vs 4, David cried to God to pull him out of a net where he has been trapped.
- What you can learn from this verse is that the enemy can set a trap (net) for a Christian.
- When someone enters a net, he is caught, cannot escape, and becomes prey in the hands of the enemy.
- Samson entered such a net when he could not keep his eyes off the lap of a woman.
- David also entered such a net when he fisted his eyes on a naked woman.
- Joseph escaped from that net by running away when Potiphar’s wife dragged him.
- Judas entered the net when the greed of 30 pieces of silver made him betrayed Jesus.
- Jesus Christ refused to enter the net when he rebuked Satan in the wilderness.
- This is to say that there is a net waiting for every Christian.
- Perhaps, you have entered that not, you can pray the prayer David prayed, that God pull me out of that net and deliver me.
