Few stories from the Old Testament have captured the imagination quite like the account of Daniel and his friends—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—whose faith was tested when they refused to compromise their devotion to God, even in the face of a fiery furnace.

Now, directors Daniel and Matthew Kooman bring this powerful story to the screen in their new film, Daniel and the Fiery Furnace. The movie explores courage, friendship, faith, and what it means to remain faithful when the cost of doing so is extraordinarily high.

I recently sat down with the Kooman brothers to discuss the making of the film, their approach to bringing this Biblical story to life, and the message they hope audiences will take away from Daniel and the Fiery Furnace.
