Don’t Look Back In Anger -May Monthly SCRIPT-TIME

HELLO MAY

Well HELLOOOOOO  LE Family, I hope this blog reached you well and in good health!

This month I have been thinking a lot about anger and the different types of situations that can rise up emotional responses within us. I was drawn back to thinking about past hurts and pain, that I had experienced within my life and those around me.

After having conversations with people in different settings, I discovered that we can often look back on our past with such anger and venom!! Most of the time we really do have the right to be so angry, as what we have experienced was so terrible and unjust that no one would blame us for holding onto anger!

During my conversations, I took note of the body language and listened to the words that were being spoken and instantly saw the pain and hurt come flooding back as people spoke of their pasts and looked back in anger.

That I began to look back on my own experiences and some I had let go off,  some still burnt a little, some stirred up some anger and it was at that point I said enough STOP- DO NOT LOOK BACK IN ANGER! Let’s heal, move on and look back for learning, learning of ourselves, other people and life’s lessons.  Not just for our past for our everyday living 🙂

No, it’s not easy by a long stretch, but we can most defiantly try right? But when achieved your only looking back it’s to testify and share our stories with others, to give hope and encouragement to be FREE!!!!

    Ecclesiastes 10:4

“If the anger of the ruler rises against you, do not leave your place, for calmness will lay great offences to rest.”

What is your personal reflection of this passage? read the passage again slowly and hear what it is saying to you? Reflection: Fill this space with your thoughts…..for example:

WHY is this important how we react?  because God teaches us how to deal with anger correctly.  I for one get exhausted when I am angry and want to sleep or sin!! Now being angry is not a sin but it is what you do with the feeling of anger that can cause sin and devastating consequences if not controlled.

God say’s do not leave your place of calmness, go mad and cuss, shout and bad up people  if anger comes upon you! no He wants us to remain clam and not leave the clam place that he has provided to us. He wants us to be humble and behave in a modest manner, that reflects himeslf.

Lots wife looked back and turned into salt-whilst we wont turn into salt looking back can do great harm if we have not overcome the pain! Therefore it is important to get help and support from others; friends, family, church, counsellors. To help aid healthly healing.

This in turns helps you to look back through different eyes, that enbale you to share your own tesitmoney of how you overcome and give hope to others in your life.

What are your personal actions for this new season, what has God said to you personally through this scripture?

Whatever you need to do, do it!

Do you need to discover the peace of God?

Do you need to work on forgiving thoes who have hurt you, so you can heal and not look back in anger?

Only you will know where you are within this jounery-be honest with yoursef, seek good and support from others where you need it! we are all on this journey of life together…..
