Exciting Grand Reunions Will Happen In The End Times -

In my understanding of this chapter it is talking about the 1000 year reign of Christ. Maybe we don’t understand everything about the end times. But understand this, exciting grand reunions will happen in the end times.

In that day the heir to David’s throne will be a banner of salvation to all the world. The nations will rally to him, and the land where he lives will be a glorious place..  Isaiah 11:10

This chapter in Isaiah talks about the wonderful things that will happen during that time. Things that today would seem unnatural.

The chapter mentions the following. A wolf with a lamb and a leopard with a young goat. It also says a calf and a young lion eating together with a little child leading them all.

In the same context, a couple of other things are worth noting. During the tribulation time, not all of the Israelites will make it back to Jerusalem.

In this setting, Isaiah is talking about after the tribulation and the Battle of Armageddon. He said the following.

In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to bring back the remnant of his people. . . He will raise a flag among the nations and assemble the exiles of Israel. He will gather the scattered people of Judah from the ends of the earth. Isaiah 11:11,12

Israel, Abraham’s seed has been God’s chosen people ever since God made a covenant with Abraham. The Gentiles were invited to join that family after Jesus arose from the grave.

All who have accepted what Jesus did on the cross, both Jews and Gentiles, are God’s chosen people.

Here is a related post called Receiving Salvation In The Lord Is Made Easy that will be helpful.

Israel as a nation will not recognize Jesus as their Messiah until during the seven years of tribulation. Before that tribulation begins, I believe there is enough evidence that the church will be raptured or taken out of this world, meeting Jesus in the air.

Grand Reunions Will Happen in the End Times for the Entire Body of Christ

Grand Reunions Will Happen In The End Times

This will be a grand reunion of the entire body of Christ coming together. If you don’t share the same end-time view, that’s fine. One thing we can all agree on is the pan theory—it will all pan out in the end.

As we read in verse 12, grand reunions will happen in the end times, after the Battle of Armageddon. He said the following. “He will gather the scattered people of Judah from the ends of the earth.”

In chapter 12, Isaiah goes on, speaking to Israel with the following.

With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation! In that wonderful day you will sing: “Thank the Lord! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is! Isaiah 12:3-4

We too, can and should be praising and thanking the Lord like that every day. Because we are already enjoying salvation from our Savior. If you don’t, it could take some sort of tribulation to remind you to look to Him?

Lord, sometimes we forget how blessed we are, and sometimes we just take you for granted. Would you forgive us for that?

What the Angels Said — Carol McLeod Ministries

Angels are an intrinsic and dynamic part of the Christmas story. Christmas simply would not have occurred without these God-sent messengers from heaven. We don’t know if the angels were clothed in flowing, white robes, if they had a halo that sparkled, or even if they flew with wings into the Christ

    The Mall or the Manger?

Much has changed since the God of the universe decorated the night sky with the star of Bethlehem and directed the choir of angels in a chorus announcing the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. But the commercialism doesn’t have to rule in our hearts and homes. This year let’s focus on the Christ Child and remember the true meaning of the holiday season. As we turn our eyes to the Babe in the manger, we will not view Christmas as a dreaded obligation or a major retail event. It will be a time of joyous celebration, honoring the One Who came to give us eternal life and worshipping our Heavenly Father.
