Gifts of the spirit:How to receive the power of God

Posted on January 28, 2009 Updated on January 27, 2009

It is when you hunger and thirst for the things of God that you will have His presence. Your cry should be like that of the psalmist who is desperate for God and His presence at all times.
Psalm 42:1-2:  As the hart panteth the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

(2) My soul thirsteth for God for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? You should learn to live a holy and upright life.

If you can seek God more than way you seek money  and material possessions, your life will never remain the same.

A person who wants to have the power of God presence will never miss fellowship with the children of God. This is what will strengthen and make your life glorious. When you have fail. You cannot experience the presence of God by coming to church  only on Sunday or when there is a special programme. You should know that God is mightily presents in the fellowship of the saints. That is why you cannot afford to miss out  on God’s presence.

Prayer point

  1. Oh God my father change, change my present speed to divine speed, in the name of Jesus
  2. The grace to dwell in your present , bestowed it on me.

Your husband wants nothing more than to succeed, but he probably struggles with issues he’s afraid to admit, even to himself. He may feel insecure about being a dad, especially if he didn’t have the benefit of a good role model. Or maybe he feels more like an understudy because he’s “only” a stepdad.
