God's Word Shines Brightly at the Museum of the Bible
Museum of the Bible, Washington, DC (Museum of the Bible)
ORLANDO -- Since opening its doors to the public in late 2017, the Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC, has consistently invited people of all backgrounds to engage with the transformative power of the Bible.
Documenting the narrative, history, and impact of the Bible, the Museum features more than 40,000 objects, relics, or rarities stretched across seven floors. Spanning more than 165,000 square feet in exhibit space, visitors will be delighted to find immersive interactive experiences including a virtual reality tour of significant locations in the Bible such as the Sea of Galilee or the Temple Mount.
In recent years, the Museum has added a theatrical element to its offerings. For example, for the next several months visitors will have the opportunity to see Prince Caspian Live Onstage, a modern interpretation of the C.S. Lewis classic from The Chronicles of Narnia. Also, launching this month is the revolutionary interactive experience, All Creation Sings, featuring vibrant interactive displays, all designed to illustrate a deep expression of worship.
Museum of the Bible Chief Marketing Officer Matthias Walther is passionate about telling stories that build relationships and ultimately change lives. What a better way to do so than through the powerful renderings of the Bible.
I recently sat down with Walther to discuss what excites him the most about telling the story of the Bible each day, how he sees the Museum developing and growing over the next few years, and what he believes to be the most exciting artifact they feature.
