Happy Independence Day!

The United States of America is far from perfect, but the same could be said of me. I love my country and the freedoms I am given. I choose to use those freedoms to love Jesus and encourage others to love Him.

May we, the citizens of this country, quit focusing solely on our rights and also focus on our responsibilities. May we become a nation of individuals who choose to love each other and seek to honor God.

“If my people, who bear my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land” (2 Chron. 7:14).
