How to create business awareness: A guide
Obscurity is one of the factors that impose limitations to the growth and profitability of small and medium-sized businesses.
The business world is on-the-go, while many businesses are either stagnant or contracting, not because they are not viable, but because of lack of consumers’ awareness. Consumers make choices based on their knowledge of available information.
Sometimes, we don’t push our businesses beyond our communities. We also sometimes rest with carving a local niche for our businesses, not realizing that the world can be our niche market.
Biblical passage to create business awareness
This article comes to encourage us to stretch our businesses to a larger world.
The Bible says:
“𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙝𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙣. 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨, 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪!” (John 7:4 GNB).
I presume that every business person wants to be well known for what he’s doing, at least for patronage. So, it can’t be normal for a business not wanting to be known.
In the above Scripture, we are encouraged to let the whole world know about the business we are doing. This becomes more practicable now than the Bible times due to available technologies and mediums to do so.
Making the world aware of your business is for growth, profitability, and Kingdom impact. These can not be achieved while in hiding.
How to create business awareness: How well are you known?
𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙣? This is a question that calls for a look at where your business is at the moment and for you to design some steps to extend your boundaries.
The more you are known, the more God’s Kingdom is known.
