Is Jesus really a God or Prophet?

Is Jesus really a God or Prophet?

Matthew 28 vs. 18:

All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth”

This is one of the last words of Jesus Christ before he bodily ascended unto heaven. I mediated upon these words few days ago and I realized its meaning in a new dimension.

Authority means the legal and legitimate exercise of power. A person in authority has power to manage and take decisions over his jurisdictions. In the world, human beings have devised several ways of appointing or electing people into authority. In some cases, authority is bestowed by inheritance or entrepreneurship.

The person in authority over a landed property is the Landlord, the person in authority over a School is the Principal, the person that has authority over a Business premises is the Chief Operating Officer/Managing Director, and the person that has final authority in a Church is a Pastor/Priest. In a family, in most cultures the Husband is the Head and has the authority over the household.

In Government circles, a Governor has authority over a state, a President has authority over a nation and for this reason he is called the Commander in Chief of the Nations Armed Forces. In the United Nations System, the Secretary General has authority over the entire United Nations system.

Jesus says He has all authority not over a country, a nation or a continent, or in the world, but in the earth and in the heavens. He is the Commander in Chief of the Earth and the Heaven.

He has the final say, he is sovereign, and can change any decision. The buck stops as its table. Such as the President of United States is the Head of the nations. Jesus is the Head of the Earth and the Heaven. And it is for this simple reason that he is called the Lord.

All powers and principalities, whether in heaven or on earth, whether visible or invisible are subject to him. No power in heaven or on earth can overcome him. It is for this simple reason that all prayers are said in its name.

Do you know who you believe? Are you still afraid of demons? Are you worried about any things? Look unto Jesus is the Commander of Chief of the Heavens and the Earth. Call on him, and he will give the appropriate commands.
