Kids & Being Filled with the Glory of God - Kids in Ministry International

Watch this video to see one of my favorite illustrated sermons of all time as I teach kids about the glory of God!

The glory of God is one of those intangible, profound concepts in the Bible that can be so difficult to explain to kids – but even adults can struggle with it at times. What does the Bible say about the glory of God?

You are familiar with many scriptures like, when God created the heavens and the earth, they were filled with his glory (presence). (Isaiah 6:3)

When Moses met God on the mountain, his face shone from being in the glory (presence). (Exodus 34:29)

In the tabernacle, the shekinah glory of God filled the holy of holies. (2 Chronicles 7:1)

Moses cried out show me your glory! (Exodus 30:18)

But how do we explain it to children? I’m going to share a video that was filmed in Miami Florida at King Jesus Ministries for Apostle Guillermo Maldonado.

I believe this short explanation will open up our understanding in a very unique way. I’ve taught this lesson all over the world, – it’s one of my favorites! And you’re going to want to watch all the way to the end because I’m going to tell you how you can get the sermon for yourself.

One of my favorite words in the New Testament is “immediately.” “Immediately they received their sight” (Matthew 20:34). Read more...
