New Fruits of Life Every Month

Revelation 22:2 informs us, “on this side and on that side of the river was the tree of life, producing twelve fruits, yielding its fruit each month.”

Revelation 22:2 also tells us that the tree of life produces “twelve fruits, yielding its fruit each month.” The fruits of the tree of life will be the food of God’s redeemed for eternity. These fruits will be continually fresh, produced every month, twelve fruits yearly.
The fact that there are twelve fruits means that the fruit of the tree of life is rich and sufficient for the completion of God’s eternal administration. The number twelve signifies completion in God’s administration for His economy eternally.*

New JerusalemIn our natural life we often get bored, we often look for something “new”. This boredom is a symptom of the fall of man. In contrast, in New Jerusalem we will eternally have the tree of life with its twelve fruits but we will never get tired of them.

In New Jerusalem Jesus Christ will be our eternal satisfaction, our eternal joy, our eternal rest. It might be hard to imagine this but He is able! He is the only supply we will need!
