Peace in the storm! -December Monthly SCRIPT-TIME

Hey LE Family, we at the last month in the year of 2020, one of the most strange year ever!I will be completely honest with you and say, despite all the lockdowns Gods promises of a new life in 2020 has been just that.

For that, I am eternally grateful. However, it has come with some unsettling phases and times when I have felt so overwhelmed, that I wanted to give up on it all.

I had times of worry and self-doubt.

My peace has been rocked, my face has been challenged and I am pretty sure, I am not alone in this……

Did you know that when we worry we are actually tormenting ourselves, which can cause us to come ill.

When we worry and experience emotional stress, this can trigger a host of health problems.

When our stress levels rise our hormones also cause physical reactions such as Difficulty swallowing, Dizziness, Dry mouth, Fast heartbeat, Fatigue, Headaches, Inability to concentrate, Irritability, Muscle aches, Muscle tension, Nausea, Nervous energy, Rapid breathing, Shortness of breath, Sweating, Trembling and twitching.

Much more but that’s not for this blog! don’t forget you can check out our wellness blogs here.

One thing I can tell you is that a peaceful mindset can help you find the strength and comfort you need to combat any and all uncertainty and restlessness.

Not always easy, in the middle of stress and in your own thoughts.

When you’re ready to face these situations head-on, look to the Bible as a source for finding peace.

Which leads to this months Scripture.

1 John 16:33
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Cast your cares on to Jesus for He cares for you, let Him figure it out! He really does not need our help.

We simply need to trust him without worries and keep on going, Know that it will all work out for our God.

God doesn’t worry!

What do we gain when we worrie ? Headches, stomach issues and missed opportunities!

Let’s not waste another day worring about things we can not change, let’s leave it all in Gods capable hands 🙏
